We are pleased to inform that our Joo Boon Dragon Dance team from Taman Jurong came in 2nd position in the Asia Dragon Dance Competition organised by Taiwan. The first position was clinched by the team from PRC and the 3rd was a Malaysia team.

The Taman Jurong Lunar New Year Celebrations 2010 was held at the Community Club Foyer and Hall on 28 Feb (Sun) morning. Mr and Mrs Tharman joined our Grassroots Leaders from Taman Jurong Zone ‘C’ Residents’ Committee to distribute Chinese New Year Packs to households in Block 177 & 180 on 7 Feb (Sun) evening. The residents were pleased to receive the Mandarin oranges from Minister Tharman and his wife.
