The Welcome Party for Residents of Blocks 337A – 337D and Block 338A held on Sunday afternoon (4 July 2010) delivered great fun & sweet memories for the residents. About 450 residents and guests were joined by the Guest-of-Honour, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister of Finance and MP for Jurong GRC and Advisor to Taman Jurong Grassroot Organisations.

About 300 residents and guests gathered at the Taman Jurong Community Club Hall on Sunday morning to witness a demonstration of the Chinese martial arts (Wushu) by members of the Singapore Lion Dance and Wushu Association. We are pleased to inform that in response to residents’ requests, Zone E RC has managed to put up one table-tennis table at Block 337 below the Multi-Storey Carpark. The RC person-in-charge is Mr Jeremy Lee, who is working to put up 1-2 more tables in the near future.
