At the Press Conference for Jurong Lake Run organised by Taman Jurong Community Sports Club at Jurong Point on 20 May (Fri) morning, DPM Tharman gave his take on the directions of the new cabinet in response to various queries from the reporters. The skate park (extreme sports park) at the Jurong Lake Park has been repaired and upgraded as per the input of a skateboarding enthusiast. The longer runs now allow the skateboarders to perform their stunts without running out of space and the floor surface defects have been fixed to make for a safer ride.
