The “Indian New Year – Sharing and Celebrating as One” event was successfully held at the foyer of Taman Jurong Community Club during the evening of 15 May (Sat). More than one thousand residents and guests attended the event which was graced by Mr and Mrs Tharman.

Minister Tharman joined in the cycling fun as he launched the inaugural Community Sports Festival 2010  on 4 April, in conjunction with South West District’s signature sporting event “Let’s Walk, Skate and Pedal @ South West”. We are pleased to inform that our Joo Boon Dragon Dance team from Taman Jurong came in 2nd position in the Asia Dragon Dance Competition organised by Taiwan. The first position was clinched by the team from PRC and the 3rd was a Malaysia team. Congratulation to our Dragon Dance team for their great achievement!!
