On 31 Dec 09, Taman Jurong Zone C Residential Committee (RC) organized Countdown 2010 at Taman Jurong Community Club multi-purpose hall. Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Finance and MP for Jurong GRC celebrated the occassion with 350 residents. Mr Tharman congratulated Zone C RC for organizing an event that appeals to residents of all ages. This was very true, as I looked across the hall, I saw parents with children, seniors with grandchildren and 3 generations of families taking part.

The programme included a variety show interspersed with stage games.?Each resident was given a?goody bag which included items?like poppers, whistles and clappers. At the stroke of midnight, the hall erupted into a symphony of sounds as the residents welcomed the New Year.

The organizing committee from Zone C RC thanks the residents for their support of the event.
