CRIME ALERT – ONLINE TRANSACTION SCAM

Police have observed a scam where the culprit would first respond to online sellers by showing interest in purchasing their expensive items. The culprit would then ask to meet up with the sellers to inspect the items. During the meeting, the culprit would claim that he or she did not bring the money and offer to pay for the items via internet banking immediately.
