Fun Share Carnival

On 27 Mar 2011, Taman Jurong CC hosted a flea market, which was called Fun Share Carnival 2011. 27 stalls, manned by vendors from various races, were put up, selling many items from key chains to dresses. Organised by the MAEC of Taman Jurong CC, the carnival was organised to raise funds for the needy. Explaining further about the carnival, Ms Norihan Abu Talib, Chairman of the organising committee, commented that the support was encouraging as more than 1000 people came. Mr Tharman arrived at exactly 12 noon as the Guest-of-Honour. Other than the flea market, there were children’s art competition, and game stalls, which add colour to the carnival.
