Improving Our Skate Park

In response to the constructive feedback, our grassroots leaders have conveyed and been working with Jurong Town Corporation (JTC) to improve the skate park facility:

1.  Regarding the insufficient lighting condition, JTC will be adding 5 additional light posts at the required locations.  The order for the lightings are already placed and delivery is expected in 2 weeks time. Installation will take one more week if the weather is favourable. The lights will only be turning on at night 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm daily to conserve the energy. A notice will be put up at the skate park.

2. Regarding skate park floor becoming uneven over time, JTC is now reviewing the standard quality required in consultation with the Lion Skaters association who represents the skaters around the island. JTC is also formulating a holistic approach to rejuvenate the  skate park. Improvement works will proceed once the requirements are firmed up.
