As?reported by the Straits Times on 10 October 2009,?the Housing and Development Board (HDB) has told Sheng Siong that the six wet markets (including Block 154A Wet Market in Bukit Batok) that Sheng Siong?bought will have to remain as wet markets?because these six markets?do not meet the criteria for conversion into supermarkets.
