PA Grassroots Convention & Appreciation Dinner 2010

48 grassroots leaders from Taman Jurong joined our Advisor Minister Tharman to attend the PA Grassroots Convention & Appreciation Dinner on 3 July (Sat) at the Suntec Convention Centre. More than 5,000 volunteers and activists attended the event which was held to commemorate the 50th anniversary of People’s Association (PA). Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who chairs the PA board, graced the occasion with a keynote speech recounting the organisation’s milestones and laying out its future. PM Lee also launched a book commemorating the PA’s 50th anniversary.
