Team Taman Jurong Seahawk in 1st Club Crew Championship for Commonwealth Countries

Kudos to the Team Taman Jurong Seahawk! They have done us proud in the recent 1st Club Crew Championship for Commonwealth Countries in Penang on 24th & 25th July 2010 at Teluk Bahang Dam, Penang. The event saw teams from commonwealth countries such as Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, India and Malaysia and various non-commonwealth countries.

Despite majority of the team members were in their 40’s and 50’s, they have performed very well as they compete against much younger participants from other teams.  

Overall, it was commendable effort put up by the team. The results were:

Mixed Category: 5th in 200m, 4th in 500m and 3rd in 2000m.

Men’s Open: 8th in 200m, 5th in 500m and 4th in 2000m.
